We are dedicated to running high quality events throughout the year.
Sanctioned Leagues
We strive to bring 4 sanctioned league seasons to Bay County each year. Most of the season, we play on Sunday afternoon. In the summer, when it's too hot, we move leagues to Saturday mornings. Check out the Facebook feed to see when we are playing.
Weeknight Leagues
During the months where we are in daylight savings time, we try to get together to play on weeknights. These often fall on Tuesdays and Thursday, but can change during the week.
Bay County Kickoff
The annual kickoff event is the start to a new year. Held on the Saturday of Martin Luther King Jr. weekend, it's a great start to the new season and a way to lock in the next year of club membership with a discount. The player's pack is always amazing and the January weather bring some unpredictable conditions.
Northwest Florida Disc Golf Championship
Starting in 2021, Bay County Disc Golf has started hosting the Northwest Florida Disc Golf Championship at the Monster at Majette. This event was in August in 2021 but is moving to April for subsequent years to better align with the schedule of events around us.
Majette Iron Man
Nothing says Iron Man like 3 rounds in the July heat of Florida, at an open course with limited shade like Majette. Done in July to coincide with the July 4th holidays, the Majette Iron Man is a true test of will. 3 rounds. 3 layouts. 1 great cause. Raising money for the HOPE Project, this event is grueling but a lot of fun.
Majette Monster Mash
The premier event of Bay County, the Majette Monster Mash, is hosted each year on the Saturday before Halloween. This event brings out some great talent and is the only pro B-Tier in the disc golf season in Bay County. This event has been featured on the Disc Golf Guy Network on YouTube and is a must attend to close out the disc golf season.
Tinsel Toss Doubles
The Tinsel Toss started out as a pop up singles event in 2021 to have something to do the day after Christmas. It has evolved into an annual doubles tournament in December to raise money for the Gulf Coast CAC. This event tests all teams with the naughty and nice rounds (tough and best shot). This event is a lot of fun for a great cause.
Winter Marksman Putting League
In the first part of the year, Salty Oak Brewing Company has partnered with Bay County Disc Golf Club to provide a venue for the Winter Marksman Putting League. With 5 stations ranging from 15 to 33 feet, this is a great way to get better at putting going into the disc golf season.
